MJM has been making art for over the last 20 years. Earning a BS from Hofstra University and an MFA from CUNY Queens College, the artist spent his formative years working from observation while studying the tricks of illustration. MJM transitioned to exploring the potential of abstraction in his personal art making practice some 15 years ago. He loves spending time outdoors, surfing and traveling with the love of his life, Lara.
